The St. Vincent de Paul Society comprises members dedicated to serving those less fortunate in the community.
Through the support of parishioners from both Holy Family and St. Paul parish, as well as other donors, the organization is able, on a limited basis to assist local families as they work through challenging spiritual and economic times.
- Food baskets at Christmas and Easter for parish families in need
- Christmas Gifts for parish families in need
- Flowers and gifts for parishioners in local nursing homes
Fundraising, in addition to donations, includes rummage sales, bake sales, virtual dinners (parishioners provide the food items for a complete meal) for the food pantry. A “Food Pantry Gathering” featuring a roast beef dinner, silent auction, prizes and music is held annually to stock the food pantry.
Meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:00pm in the lower level of Holy Family Church. All are welcome to join this parish ministry.
